WP-37: lead-cable assembly
Selectable J/K, grounded or ungrounded junctions, and SS304, SS316, SS310 or Inconel 600 sheath choices. Listed sheath diameters include 0.8, 1.6, 4.7 and 6.35 mm. Confirm length, cable and mounting for your point.
WP-34: quick-disconnect probe
The connector-equipped MI probe lists Type J, grounded or ungrounded junctions and several sheath diameters. Specify the connector interface as well as the probe dimensions; do not assume it has the same type choices as WP-37.
WP-35: handle assembly
The handle-equipped MI model lists J/K options. Compare the handle, probe dimensions, cable and measurement access with the intended furnace, oven or calibration point.
Does MI construction specify the sensor type?
No. Mineral-insulated describes the construction; J or K identifies the thermocouple type on the assemblies above. Confirm both the type and junction, then compare sheath material, diameter, insertion and termination.
What is the operating temperature range?
Ask for the complete assembly's range for the specified duty. The sheath, cable, termination and environment must all be considered. For a furnace enquiry, include zone, atmosphere, thermal cycling and insertion details; use the furnace selection guide to prepare the specification.
Specify an MI thermocouple
Send type, junction, sheath, diameter, insertion length, termination and quantity. For a lead-cable probe, include cable length and construction; for the J-type quick-disconnect probe, include the connector interface; for a handle probe, show the required access and dimensions.
