Temperature Transmitters
Compare two-wire, loop-powered 4–20 mA temperature transmitters in head-, rail- and field-mount formats. Choose the sensor input and mounting together.
Temperature transmitter products
Field-Mount RTD Transmitter
Pt100 input with a 0–400°C input range, two-wire loop power and 4–20 mA output. Review the process connection for the installation.
Rail-Mount Temperature Transmitter
Pt100 or J/K thermocouple input and 4–20 mA output. Compare the input-specific range and rail-mount dimensions.
Head-Mount Temperature Transmitter
Pt100 or J/K thermocouple input and 4–20 mA output. Check the transmitter dimensions against the sensor connection head.
Humidity-Temperature Transmitter
A separate combined humidity and temperature product. Review its own specification rather than applying the two-wire models' options to it.
Compare input, output and power supply
The field-mount model lists Pt100 input. The rail- and head-mount models list Pt100 or J/K inputs, with ranges specified by sensor type. All three two-wire models specify 4–20 mA output and nominal 24 V DC supply (12–30 V DC), with a stated operating temperature of 0–55°C. The input measurement range and the transmitter's ambient operating temperature are different specifications.
RTD or thermocouple transmitter?
Match the input to the sensor, not only the mounting. For a Pt100 probe, specify its wire arrangement; for a thermocouple, specify J or K and the connection details. Browse RTD sensors or thermocouples separately if the probe is also required.
Can it connect to a PLC?
For a PLC or process-control loop, confirm a compatible 4–20 mA analogue input, loop supply, wiring and scaling. Check the receiving input card and chosen transmitter's specification together; matching signal names alone does not establish compatibility.
Are these programmable or universal-input models?
The models above specify particular sensor inputs. If user programming, another thermocouple type, communications or isolation is required, include that requirement in the enquiry and confirm it against the selected model.
