Start with the drawing and identify the measured part and point: a bearing point is distinct from a motor or generator winding point. State what the reading is intended to represent and identify each location separately; do not infer measurement purpose from a sensor shape or equipment name.
Use this field checklist for each point: mark its location and reference on the drawing; record the mounting arrangement, available space and replacement access; describe the lead exit and route, including relevant environmental or vibration context; and specify the RTD input and connection accepted by the receiving instrument.
Compare each sensor's catalogue record with the bearing measurement point, including the required element, dimensions, sheath or insulation, cable and stated applications. The reviewed Ring Type RTD, Ring Type RTD with L Bend and Ring Type RTD with SS Conduit records describe product construction and dimensions, but do not identify bearing applications. For a bearing point, provide the mounting and operating details for engineering review rather than inferring suitability or an operating or vibration rating from the ring-shaped form.
For an engineering enquiry, provide the point list, marked drawing, mounting details, lead route, instrument input and replacement requirements. Where the product record does not explicitly resolve the application, request engineering review rather than treating a construction option as an approved fit.
